Bonfire Smoke and Vanilla
Svensk Rök is not your typical peated whisky. All natural Swedish ingredients and juniper seasoned peat gives us notes of Bonfire Smoke, Vanilla Fudge and Fresh Citrus.
Nose: Bonfire smoke with a hint of juniper, fresh citrus and vanilla fudge
Taste: The peaty character is more explicit on the palate than on the nose. Dry oak combined with herbs, green fruits and vanilla
Aftertaste: Long and dry finish with notes of oak and herbs.

The Juniper Smoke
Using juniper smoke when preserving fish or meat is an old Swedish tradition and we knew we were on to something when we complimented our local peat with juniper twigs.
The ”Swedish smoke” infuses the malt and gives our peated whisky its unique characteristics.
Our Local Bog
The peat we use in our smokery comes from the bog Karinmossen not far from the distillery.
It’s also one of the reasons why our peated whisky carries notes that reminds you of a bonfire in the woods on a chilly autumn afternoon.
As usual with Mackmyra, this whisky is just peated to be perfect. With ice or not, rich flavours and warm sensation.
